Meet Imari, life of the party and the ultimate social butterfly! Imari lives a super active lifestyle, from enjoying outdoor activities to mixing it up with happy hour, cocktails and staying on the scene with live events, concerts and all things happening in the city. 

Descending from a military family stationed at Fort Hood, Imari loves to travel to new places, but is thrilled to return home to Austin, “The Live Music Capital” for her role as afternoon host with 933 Austin! Passionate about media and representing her Hispanic heritage, she studied mass communication and Spanish at Texas State University, and abroad at Tecnológico de Monterrey. 

Recently, Imari hosted overnight’s and weekends in Miami for the legendary CHR station Y100, where she also emceed nightclub events, and presented for the national iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. Imari first started her radio career on-air for Texas State’s KTSW 899, later in promotions with Waterloo Media’s 1071 La Z, Latino 1027 and as producer Austin’s top award-winning morning show ‘Jason and Deb’ on 101X.
